Good to hear. Terminator is going ok. I've had a lot of other work todo but I'm working on the head at the moment and my mate has a mill so we will be looking at the fingers very soon.
The design has changed abit. I have to do a lot of updates on the web site etc.

Unfortunately not really, there are some very active mailing lists like the one attached to the BEAM yahoo group and some active American robotic clubs but not really one central place that I've found yet.

Thanks. I still need to do a bit of refining but something like that design.
I don't now of any other sites. But I was looking at doing a project design site with blogs, step by step design pages with electronics designs as well.
So people can use it as a one stop resource for robotics.
But too much to do so little time to do it in.
