Here is a quick mock up in Blender of the joint I'm perceiving as running that hexapod above. I'm happy to post the .blend file if anyone wants it.

Hi, Looks good. Nice and neat. I like it. I'm personly looking at 4 DOF. One more joint. Maybe mounted inside the body and cabled out. A found a fair few hexapods on the net. www.colinmackenzie.net/www.micromagicsystems.com/ these guys us them on movies. In the latest servo mag they test a few hexapods out. And a bit on walking www.oricomtech.com/projects/leg-time.htm#Oct2Cheers bones ************************************** An addition.. phidgetsusa.com/robotics_intro.aspHave a look at these legs and the idea of using a normal servo but on the mounting plate that holds the bottom of the servo you put a pivot on the opposite side to the servo control horn. Converted into a robot servo.

Hi Guys, I'm bringing up the idea of a group project again. Looks like we have a few Roboticists in the group, so any thoughts? ? We have the people and the resources. I'm up for the mechanical side. Cheers Bones
