Hey guys, I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry I haven't been around for ages. Lots of stuff has been going on outside of robots for me lately. That said I'm back now. Again I'm sorry for my very extended absence. On a brighter not I've had time recently to get a couple of (small) robotic projects up and running. So how has everyone been? Now I must go and read the posts I've missed

Good to have you back Dingo. I don't think you have missed much. It's been pretty quiet. So what projects have you been doing?
I've finished my mill, just the coolant system to go, cleaned my shed up (nearly) all ready to start spitting out parts.
I'm doing a small project in between the big one. Wall-E. A new Pixar film coming out. A cross between Johnny 5 from short circuit and a box.
Worth a look.

I had a look at the site and then scoured the 'net for a pic or two of Wall-E - which is all I could find because I refused to download the movie trailer!
It uses your tinman base, Bones! Sue them for copyright! I saw you using those treads first!
Some people seem to think that Wall-E is "cute". Sorry, but I just don't get it. Maybe I'm old and jaded...
And I think Dingo's disappeared again. He's like the phantom: a man wearing a purple costume and hiding in a jungle somewheres. Or ......... is he?

Yes, I was on a mission involving sky pirates Lately I've been trying to learn more about embedded linux with the AVR32. Have you guys seen the NGW100 that Atmel released? ( www.atmel.com/dyn/products/tools_card.asp?tool_id=4102 ) Basically a full blown linux box that costs >A$100, and runs on 4xAA batteries. Takes SD cards, usb, Ethernet and RS-232 I'm yet to hook up a webcam to it though Apart from that I've been building a couple of line followers for a competition we have going up here in Brisneyland. I've also been building a few random AVR projects like a Chess clock - the ones you must slam after every move I've also had some fun with those cheap 433Mhz radio modules. Looking at Wall-E now....

Read the message again moron. I wasn't talking about you or your group.
And what did I supposedly steal from you.
Botman was talking about the tracks on my robot are the same as wall-e's.
And Don't make it out that I was talking about you too. Add the start of the line. What you think people are stupid and can't scroll up to see that last message post and see that I was answering the post before.
Man some people, always on the defensive.
