To contine on from the previous Transducer thread......
I successful operated them via the "Parking Radar Kit" at oatley (K150 $19).
Basically there is a sender and a receiver module. Both are required. This particular kit allows you to adjust the distance at which it will trigger an LED / Buzzer whatever you want.
I would highly recommend this for robotic projects where you need collision avoidance and don't want to use IR and don't want to design your own Ultrasonic curcuit. The only issue as a "plug 'n' play" approach is that the kit is designed to use 12v DC as is (it does only draw about 1.5 mA)
The other issue I had was that the trimpots supplied didn't fit the PCB so I had to use some from my own stock.
Compared to other "kits" pre made or not I think this would have to be the best value - Although if I'm wrong I want you to tell me!
