I'm looking for any circuit diagrams to interface the 16k 6116 chip to any microcontroller (preferably AVR or PIC)
I assume it is one of things ppl just "know" and don't bother documenting to heavily

Atmel has the needed documentation for those uC's that support external RAM interfacing (eg. AT90S8515) - just download the appropriate manual. You can find the pin-out of the 6116 at www.alldatasheet.com. Type "HT6116" into the search box. This site is good for all of your semiconductor spec sheets - and it's free. Rod |
