I saw the toy on the shelves so I downloaded some MPG movies about the thing before buying. I gotta say I'm disappointed with the way it moves - swinging itself to walk like that. Sure, in Mark Tilden's video he explains the physical design: "It can't fall over," he says. But man, imagine that robot when human sized cleaning your hallway - massive holes smashed in both walls. Bang, bang, bang... So I didn't buy one. I haven't made anything better - or even anything that walks, but now I'm all for lots of degrees of freedom in legs and arms, and gyro's so the robot can get up after falling over...
