I am nearing the final design for the air muscles. Less leaks than the old design and look like the ones off Sonny (The NS-5) out off I-Robot. Design plans to come. You will need a lathe.

Hi, Finished my air muscle. Works great. I could lift my 17Kg tool box 20mm with 50PSI without a problem. The travel without was about 25-30mm. I need to do a few slight adjustments with the tube gripping area (A couple of ridges to hold onto). Pictures soon. Only need to make another 20 or so.

Nice, sure you aren't building some form of mining robot with that amount o strength?

lol. I want it to be at least as strong as a human. Don't forget the muscle is only hooked less than an inch from the elbow pivot and the hand is at least 15 inches from it. By the time you divide that up it will only lift 1kg.But there are 2-3 of the muscles on the bicep and tricep. And I haven't tried anything heavier yet. I finally did a basic web page with some pics. Its name is Roddon. www.arach.net.au/~bones/Bones
