Anyone know a good source of decent (and decently priced) DC motors in Australia?
Obviously the kind useful for robotics

I found the cheap cordless screwdrivers ~$15 and drills $ at Bunnings have planetry reduction drives and have a bit of grunt behind them. Jaycar have some motors there with reduction drives ~$25 which are great for moving things like arms and stuff with a bit of weight behind them. And don't forget servos. The really big ones can move a bit of weight around ~$150 but you can get the same size as the normal servos but have steel gears in them and lift the same weight. ~$80.

Yeah that is a great suggestion. I'm thinking of setting up a "bargains" section or something similar so ppl can post where they found cheap items- What does everyone think?
