c3newsletter.50megs.com/Interesting project if completed Although personally lugging around an inverter to power a 350W PSU to drive a 266 Celeron sounds like a lot of effort compared to getting an ARM9 to do the job.....or at very least build a nice efficient PSU. Would be nice to see the arm if it gets built.

A robot that gets Beer. "BRILLIANT". Sorry had to to that beer ad joke. A good idea but maybe have a fridge built in. And have an inductive pad on the floor that it charges from. Just drive on top and charge up. It could stay there until you say "Get me a beer Be-atch" to which it would race over and pop one out of its chest nice and cold. Then go back and charge. Instead of inverting up and back down again he should use a 12Volt to ATX power supply. They are available for PC's. Yep and arm uP. People just get lazy these days and slap in a pc rather than writing code. Jamie from the Myth Busters has already built a robot for 7up to vend their drinks. www.m5industries.com/html/portfolio/7up.htmGota watch the video. Funny as. Bones
