Has anyone tried creating a robot that uses lighter-than-air method of movement? If would be pretty cool to control if with fans and to make it autonimous - unless it escaped and just flew away

Just from playing around with Helium balloons and hanging MASK figurines off them as a kid, it would take a heck of a lot of helium in a balloon to hold the weight of an electric motor and battery, let alone multiples of them Best bets would be more on a helicoptor design

I wonder how light you could make the motors.
You'd have to use solar power I'd imagine. Jaycar currently has some surplus solar power fan motors I think.
